ELCC Sosa Headshot

Jasmin Sosa

Jasmin Sosa is a seasoned community leader and outreach advocate with over nine years on staff at Grace Midtown Church as the Director of Local & Global Engagement, where she has helped cultivate spaces of belonging, healing, and spiritual formation. Alongside her work in the faith community, Jasmin has spent the past five years consulting with justice-centered nonprofits, equipping teams to do the deep internal and systemic work required for long-term change. Her work is rooted in a deep belief that faith and justice are not only compatible—but inseparable—and that the local community is one of the most powerful grounds for transformation. Jasmin is passionate about investing in the next generation, convinced that young folks of faith are not just future leaders, but present catalysts for bridging divides, reimagining systems, and restoring hope to our democracy.

"What excites me most about this cohort is the intentionality behind empowering young folks of all faith walks to lead in divided times. In a cultural moment where polarization can feel paralyzing, this initiative feels like a bold declaration that we still believe in the power of listening, leading with conviction, and building bridges. I’m hopeful that this group of emerging leaders will not only be shaped by this experience—but will shape the future of our communities, showing us what’s possible when courage, empathy, and faith come together. It’s an honor to help steward something that I believe will ripple far beyond this cultural moment."
